Lechlade Open Gardens

  • St. Lawrence Church Market Square Lechlade GL7 3AB (map)

Come and visit nine hidden gems of Lechlade as several of our gardens open to the public, some for the first time on Saturday 3rd June 2 – 5 pm.

This is an opportunity to visit a number of gardens, some of which have been developed with much imagination in small spaces. Others range from Victorian landscaping to a William and Mary country house where tea will be served throughout the afternoon

As well as lovely gardens there are many other reasons for spending time in our ancient, historic Cotswold town, with its landmark wool church, listed buildings and pretty riverside walks through water meadows.

Roving Tickets £5 (children under 16 free), with map and list of gardens, available in advance from Lechlade Post Office from 1st May and the Market Place and Open Gardens on the day.

Information and tickets available in advance from Helen Jones 01367 252402 email: helenfsjones@aol.com and Phil Tubbs 01367 253762 email: petubbs@btinternet.com

Proceeds from the sale of tickets, teas and cakes will be divided equally between St Lawrence Church, Restoration and Maintenance Appeal and British Heart Foundation.

Car parking is free (for up to 2 hours) in the town centre but spaces are often limited. Free parking: Memorial Hall & Sports Complex in Oak Street, GL7 3AY
