We are proposing to arrange, subject as ever to the weather, a working party in Little Garden Wood on Saturday 4 March 2017 to try to counter the depredations of another winter.

The work will be the usual varied mix of activities including the removal of brash left from earlier felling either to the sides of the wood or to the bonfire, beating back the brambles at the north end, to the left of Pete Crapper’s seat, trimming back the trees over Lady Reilly’s bench, and, if we have time (and the manpower), clearing the lane of overhanging vegetation.

Do come and join us, from 10am til 1pm and bring as many members of your extended family as you can, all equipped with secateurs, loppers & stout gloves.
